Albania is a little but fun country in the south of Europe, near Macedonia. This country is one of the less popular countries in Europe but that is changing as more and more people appreciate its amazing sites. Without a doubt Albania has fantastic, pure white sandy beaches, pristine mountain regions, and vibrant, expanding cities.

Albania’s pure white sandy beaches are amazing. The beaches are usually white, sandy beaches but there are a dozen or so pebble beaches as well. You can if you want have fun in the warm dry sun on a rug or rent a lounge, the choice is yours to make. Plenty of the beaches are totally untouched by foreign visitors and a number are so quiet that you can quite possibly have the beach to yourself, even in in during popular times.

There are numerous fantastic mountain areas in Albania. The mountainous areas in the north are perfect for skiing or hiking and you can see at least a few waterfalls and spectacular lakes in the area. The mountains in the north are amazing to view but the other mountain regions are also brilliant.

Albanian cities are very vibrant with a cafe culture so there are huge numbers of great cafes to visit. Albania cities like Elbasan are worth seeing to visit the unusual old city area and also to visit a museum.

The Albanian people are extremely warm and welcoming and will be happy to show you around their country if you take the time to visit it.
