You’ll Have More Fun in Albania Than Juan de Nova Island

Albania is a fairly small but beautiful country in the south of Europe, fairly close to Montenegro. It’s one of the less popular southern European countries but that will change before you know it as people become aware of its wonderful sites. This country has lovely, clean sandy beaches, more or less untouched mountain regions, and happening, expanding cities.

Albania’s clean sandy beaches are fantastic. The beaches are mostly white, sandy beaches although of course there are a couple of pebble beaches as well. You could if you like sit in the hot sun on a towel or lease a lounge, the choice is up to you. Most of the beaches are really untouched by foreigners and a few are so quiet that you could quite possibly be at the beach alone, even in during peak times.

There are many beautiful mountain regions in Albania. These regions in the north are absolutely amazing for skiing or hiking and you can possibly find a lot of waterfalls and perfect lakes in the region. Those mountains are exciting to visit but the other mountain regions are also spectacular.

Albanian cities are extremely vibrant with a cafe culture so there are huge numbers of cool cafes to choose from. Albania cities including Tropoja are worth spending a few days in to visit the unique old city area and possibly to visit a few museums.

You will most likely find that Albanians are mostly friendly and will be pleased to show you around their country if you spend time there.
