You'll Have More Fun in Albania Than France
Albania is a tiny but fantastic country in the Balkans, very close to Kosovo. This country is one of the less often visited European countries but that is about to change as more visitors start to take note of its amazing attractions. Albania has exceptional, white sandy beaches, pretty much untouched mountain regions, and lively, improving cities.
Albania’s white sandy beaches are gorgeous. They are mostly white, sandy beaches but there are a couple of pebble beaches too. You can either lie in the hot sun on a rug or pay for a sun bed, the choice is up to you. A lot of the beaches are totally untouched by foreigners and a few are so quiet that you could quite possibly be at the beach without anyone else, even in August.
There are numerous fantastic mountain places in Albania. These regions in the north are exceptional for skiing or hiking and you can also find a few waterfalls and pristine lakes in the area. The mountains in that area are wonderful to view but the other mountain regions are also spectacular.
Albanian cities are extremely vibrant with a cafe culture leading to many hip cafes to choose from. Albania cities including Berat are worth spending a few days in to visit the unique old city area and also to visit a museum or two.
Albanians are very welcoming and will be more than happy to introduce you to their country if you take the time to visit.
