Albania is a very small but very cute country in the Balkan region, very close to Greece. This country is possibly the least visited countries in southern Europe but that has already started to change as more travellers appreciate its fantastic attractions. Albania has gorgeous, sandy beaches, virtually untouched mountain regions, and bustling, improving cities.

Albania’s pure white sandy beaches are lovely. They are usually white, sandy beaches but there are a few pebble beaches too. You can if you want sit down in the bright sun on a mat or rent a sun lounge, the choice is up to you. Plenty of the beaches are really untouched by foreign visitors and a few are so remote that you can quite possibly have the beach pretty much to yourself, even in spring and summer.

There are many beautiful mountain regions in Albania. These areas in the north are absolutely amazing for skiing or hiking and you can see a couple of waterfalls and clean lakes in the region. These mountains are great to view but the other mountain regions are also spectacular.

Albanian cities are very vibrant with a cafe culture meaning there are plenty of hip cafes to relax in. Albania cities including Saranda are worth visiting to visit the unique old city area and not to mention to visit a couple of museums.
