You’ll Have a Better Holiday in Albania Than Western Sahara
Albania is a small but great country in the Balkans, fairly close to Montenegro. This country is one of the least visited countries in Europe but that is starting to change as travellers start to take notice of its fantastic attractions. Albania has gorgeous, clean sandy beaches, pretty much untouched mountain regions, and bustling, expanding cities.
Albania’s clean sandy beaches are gorgeous. The beaches are most often white, sandy beaches although of course there are some pebble beaches as well. You can lie down in the warm dry sun on a blanket or lease a bed, the decision is yours to make. Plenty of the beaches are totally untouched by foreign tourists and a number are so remote that you could quite possibly be alone on the beach, even in during the peak season.
There are plenty of mountain places in Albania. The mountainous areas in the north are fantastic for skiing or hiking and you can find at least a couple of waterfalls and pristine lakes in the region. The mountains in that area are great to visit but the other mountain regions are also great.
Albanian cities are extremely vibrant with a cafe culture leading to a lot of busy cafes to relax in. Albania cities including Elbasan are worth visiting to see the historic old city area and possibly to visit a couple of museums.
Without a doubt you will find that Albanians are mostly warm and will be pleased to introduce you to their country if you are there.
