You’ll Have a Better Holiday in Albania Than Mexico
Albania is a fairly small but very pretty country in the Balkans, not too far from Greece. It is one of the less popular Mediterranean countries but that will change before you know it as more and more travellers start to appreciate its wonderful beauty. Without a doubt Albania has unbelievable, pure white sandy beaches, more of less virgin mountain regions, and bustling, growing cities.
Albania’s pure white sandy beaches are lovely. They are mostly white, sandy beaches but there are a dozen pebble beaches too. You could if you want lie down in the hot sun on a blanket or hire a bed, the option is up to you. A lot of the beaches are pretty much untouched by tourists and a handful are so remote that you could quite possibly have the beach to yourself, even in in the peak season.
There are many mountain areas in Albania. These areas in the north are absolutely amazing for skiing or hiking and you can also visit quite a few waterfalls and fabulous lakes in the area. The mountains in the north are wonderful to see but the other mountain regions are also amazing.
Albanian cities are extremely vibrant with a cafe culture so there are heaps of hip cafes to hang out in. Albania cities including Vlora are worth visiting to view the unique old city area and also to visit a couple of museums.
You are sure to find that Albanians are mostly warm and will be pleased to show you around their country if you take the time to visit.
