Why I Prefer Albania Over Argentina

Albania is a tiny but very cute country in the Balkan region, neighbouring Serbia. It’s possibly the least visited European countries but that is most definitely changing as more people come to appreciate its fantastic sites. This country has beautiful, white sandy beaches, more of less virgin mountain regions, and bustling, expanding cities.

Albania’s clean sandy beaches are unbelievably beautiful. These beaches are mostly white, sandy beaches although of course there are a couple of pebble beaches as well. You could if you like lie in the hot dry sun on a blanket or lease a sun lounge, the choice is up to you. Most of the beaches are practically untouched by visitors and a couple are so quiet that you can be alone on the beach, even in spring and summer.

There are many mountain regions in Albania. These areas in the north are absolutely amazing for skiing or hiking and you can possibly see a couple of waterfalls and amazing lakes in the region. The mountains in that region are wonderful to see but the other mountain regions are also spectacular.

Albanian cities are very vibrant with a cafe culture resulting in a lot of local cafes to relax in. Albania cities including Vlora are worth visiting to visit the unique old city area and possibly to visit a museum.

Without a doubt you will find that Albanians are very hospitable and will be more than happy to show you their country if you spend time there.
