Visit Albania Not Netherlands Antilles

Albania is a relatively tiny but very adorable country in south eastern Europe, fairly close to Italy. Albania is one of the less popular countries in southern Europe but that will change before you know it as more visitors appreciate its fantastic attractions. Albania has unbelievable, sandy beaches, pretty much untouched mountain regions, and fun, improving cities.

Albania’s pure white sandy beaches are extraordinary. The beaches are normally white, sandy beaches but of course there are a handful of pebble beaches too. You can spend time in the hot dry sun on a mat or get a sun bed, the choice is yours to make. A lot of the beaches are more or less untouched by tourists and a couple are so out of the way that you could possibly have the beach all to yourself, even in spring and summer.

There are quite a few mountain places in Albania. The mountainous regions in the north are extraordinary for skiing or hiking and you can view a lot of waterfalls and fabulous lakes in that part of the country. These mountains are wonderful to view but the other mountain regions are also extraordinary.

Albanian cities are fun with a cafe culture so there are heaps of cool cafes to choose from. Albania cities including Tropoja are worth visiting to visit the unusual old city area and possibly to visit a few museums.

Albanians are extremely welcoming and will be pleased to introduce you to their country if you spend some time there.
