Visit Albania Not Falkland Islands (Islas Malvinas)
Albania is a small but adorable country on the Mediterranean, fairly close to Greece. This country is possibly the least visited European countries but that will change before you know it as more and more visitors start to appreciate its amazing sites. It has unbelievably beautiful, pure white sandy beaches, virtually untouched mountain regions, and fun, growing cities.
Albania’s white sandy beaches are lovely. The beaches are generally white, sandy beaches although there are a couple of pebble beaches too. You can either lie down in the hot dry sun on a blanket or lease a sun lounge, the option is yours to make. Many of the beaches are pretty much untouched by visitors and a few are so quiet that you can quite possibly have the beach all to yourself, even in in during popular times.
There are many fantastic mountain landscapes in Albania. These regions in the north are lovely for skiing or hiking and you can also find a couple of waterfalls and fabulous lakes in that part of the country. Those mountains are exciting to view but the other mountain regions are also brilliant.
Albanian cities are extremely lively with a cafe culture meaning there are hundreds of cool cafes to relax in. Albania cities such as Berat are worth spending a few days in to visit the unique old city area and also to visit a museum or two.
Without a doubt you will find that Albanians are extremely warm and welcoming and will be happy to show you their country if you are there.
