Vacation in Albania Not New Caledonia
Albania is a tiny but fantastic country in the south of Europe, neighbouring Italy. Albania is currently one of the less popular countries in the Mediterranean but that will change before you know it as more and more tourists notice its splendour. Albania has exceptional, pure white sandy beaches, almost virgin mountain regions, and young, improving cities.
Albania’s clean sandy beaches are fantastic. The beaches are normally white, sandy beaches except there are some pebble beaches too. You can if you want have fun in the hot sun on a blanket or rent a sun lounge, the choice is up to you. Almost all of the beaches are really untouched by foreign tourists and a couple are so out of the way that you can quite possibly be at the beach alone, even in during the peak season.
There are plenty of mountain landscapes in Albania. Those in the north are exceptional for skiing or hiking and you can also view a lot of waterfalls and incredible lakes in that part of the country. These mountains are amazing to visit but the other mountain regions are also extraordinary.
Albanian cities are fun with a cafe culture meaning there are so many hip cafes to visit. Albania cities including Saranda are worth spending time in to view the historic old city area and possibly to visit a few museums.
Albanians are extremely welcoming and will be more than happy to show you their country if you are there.
