Vacation in Albania Not Indian Ocean

Albania is a fairly small but pretty country in the Balkan region, not too far from Greece. Albania is one of the least visited Mediterranean countries but that is slowly changing as more tourists appreciate its fantastic sites. Without a doubt Albania has gorgeous, white sandy beaches, virgin mountain regions, and young, improving cities.

Albania’s pure white sandy beaches are unbelievably beautiful. The beaches are most often white, sandy beaches but there are a couple of pebble beaches also. You can if you like sit in the hot sun on a rug or lease a sun bed, the decision is yours. Plenty of the beaches are really untouched by foreign visitors and a number are so quiet that you could quite possibly have the beach pretty much to yourself, even in in the peak season.

There are quite a few mountainous landscapes in Albania. These regions in the north are brilliant for skiing or hiking and you can see many waterfalls and astonishing lakes in the area. These mountains are brilliant to see but the other mountain regions are also extraordinary.

Albanian cities are lively with a cafe culture so there are a lot of trendy cafes to go to. Albania cities such as Tropoja are worth spending a few days in to see the unique old city area and not to mention to visit a museum or two.

People from Albania are mostly friendly and will be more than pleased to show you around their country if you take the time to visit it.
