I Prefer Albania Over Sierra Leone

Albania is a little but beautiful country in the Balkans, neighbouring Kosovo. It’s one of the less often visited countries in Europe but that is slowly changing as more and more visitors start to take note of its amazing beauty. Without a doubt Albania has lovely, pure white sandy beaches, almost virgin mountain regions, and fun, improving cities.

Albania’s pure white sandy beaches are fantastic. They are generally white, sandy beaches although of course there are a few pebble beaches also. You can if you like lie down in the hot dry sun on a rug or hire a sunbed, the option is yours. Plenty of the beaches are totally untouched by foreign tourists and a few are so remote that you can quite possibly be alone on the beach, even in in the peak season.

There are a number of interesting mountain areas in Albania. The mountainous areas in the north are amazing for skiing or hiking and you can also view a few waterfalls and fabulous lakes in the area. Those mountains are brilliant to visit but the other mountain regions are also amazing.

Albanian cities are extremely lively with a cafe culture resulting in heaps of trendy cafes to go to. Albania cities for example Shkodra are worth visiting to see the unusual old city area and possibly to visit a museum.

Albanian people are mostly welcoming and will be excited to show you around their country if you are there.
