Holiday in Albania Not Vanuatu
Albania is a fairly small but pretty country in south eastern Europe, near Montenegro. Albania is quite possibly the least visited European countries but that is slowly changing as tourists start to take note of its fantastic sites. It has gorgeous, sandy beaches, more of less virgin mountain regions, and fun, growing cities.
Albania’s clean sandy beaches are unbelievably beautiful. Albanian beaches are generally white, sandy beaches although there are some pebble beaches as well. You can if you want lie down in the warm dry sun on a mat or pay for a lounge, the decision is yours to make. A lot of the beaches are practically untouched by foreign tourists and a couple are so remote that you can have the beach to yourself, even in August.
There are a number of exquisite mountain regions in Albania. The mountains in the north are ideal for skiing or hiking and you can also find many waterfalls and pristine lakes in the area. Those mountains are wonderful to see but the other mountain regions are also fantastic.
Albanian cities are extremely vibrant with a cafe culture resulting in so many hip cafes to relax in. Albania cities for example Fier are worth visiting to view the unique old city area and also to visit a few museums.
You are sure to find that people from Albania are mostly hospitable and will be glad to introduce you to their country if you spend some time there.
