Holiday in Albania Not The Gambia

Albania is a very small but beautiful country in the Mediterranean region of Europe, near Serbia. Albania is probably the least visited European countries but that is starting to change as more and more people come to appreciate its fantastic attractions. Albania has unbelievably beautiful, sandy beaches, virgin mountain regions, and happening, expanding cities.

Albania’s pure white sandy beaches are amazing. The beaches are most often white, sandy beaches but there are a dozen pebble beaches too. You could lie in the hot dry sun on a towel or get a sun lounge, the option is yours to make. Plenty of the beaches are pretty much untouched by foreigners and a couple are so quiet that you can quite possibly be at the beach without anyone else, even in summer.

There are many exquisite mountain areas in Albania. These areas in the north are brilliant for skiing or hiking and you are able to view a lot of waterfalls and pristine lakes in that part of the country. The mountains in the north are fantastic to visit but the other mountain regions are also amazing.

Albanian cities are lively with a cafe culture meaning there are many hip cafes to go to. Albania cities including Berat are worth taking the time to visit to view the unique old city area and not to mention to visit a couple of museums.

Most Albanian people are mostly warm and will be pleased to take you around their country if you take the time to visit it.
