Holiday in Albania Not French Guiana
Albania is a tiny but great country in the south of Europe, neighbouring Serbia. This country is quite possibly the least visited countries in southern Europe but that is most definitely changing as people come to appreciate its amazing sites. Without a doubt Albania has amazing, white sandy beaches, virtually untouched mountain regions, and bustling, expanding cities.
Albania’s pure white sandy beaches are gorgeous. The beaches are most often white, sandy beaches but of course there are a couple of pebble beaches too. You could if you like hang out in the hot sun on a mat or pay for a lounge, the decision is up to you. Almost all of the beaches are pretty much untouched by foreigners and a number are so quiet that you can possibly have the beach pretty much to yourself, even in during the peak season.
There are quite a few fantastic mountain areas in Albania. Those in the north are extraordinary for skiing or hiking and you can also find a lot of waterfalls and fabulous lakes in the area. These mountains are wonderful to view but the other mountain regions are also spectacular.
Albanian cities are extremely lively with a cafe culture meaning there are a lot of local cafes to visit. Albania cities like Berat are worth seeing to view the historic old city area and possibly to visit a museum.
Albanian people are extremely friendly and will be more than happy to take you around their country if you take the time to visit.
