Don't Visit Greece

Albania is a fairly small but great country in southern Europe, very close to Serbia. This country is quite possibly the least visited countries in the Mediterranean but that is most definitely changing as more and more people notice its fantastic sites. This country has exceptional, sandy beaches, more or less untouched mountain regions, and bustling, expanding cities.

Albania’s sandy beaches are extraordinary. Albanian beaches are usually white, sandy beaches although there are some pebble beaches too. You could have fun in the hot sun on a blanket or hire a sunbed, the choice is yours to make. A lot of the beaches are totally untouched by foreigners and a couple are so remote that you can quite possibly have the beach pretty much all to yourself, even in during the peak season.

There are plenty of mountain places in Albania. These areas in the north are wonderful for skiing or hiking and you can also find plenty of waterfalls and amazing lakes in the area. These mountains are fabulous to see but the other mountain regions are also brilliant.

Albanian cities are lively with a cafe culture meaning there are plenty of hip cafes to visit. Albania cities for example Tropoja are worth spending time in to visit the unusual old city area and not to mention to visit a museum or two.

Albanians are extremely friendly and will be glad to show you around their country if you take the time to visit it.
