Avoid The Crowds by Vacationing in Albania Not Maldives
Albania is a relatively tiny but very beautiful country in southern Europe, near Kosovo. Albania is one of the least visited countries in Europe but that is about to change as more and more people take note of its fantastic sites. Albania has amazing, clean sandy beaches, more of less virgin mountain regions, and fun, changing cities.
Albania’s sandy beaches are wonderful. Albanian beaches are most often white, sandy beaches but of course there are a couple of pebble beaches too. You could if you want sit down in the warm sun on a blanket or get a bed, the decision is up to you. A lot of the beaches are totally untouched by foreign tourists and a number are so quiet that you can have the beach pretty much all to yourself, even in in during popular times.
There are quite a few mountain places in Albania. The mountainous regions in the north are wonderful for skiing or hiking and you can possibly find plenty of waterfalls and incredible lakes in that part of the country. Those mountains are great to view but the other mountain regions are also brilliant.
Albanian cities are bustling with a cafe culture so there are hundreds of cool cafes to choose from. Albania cities including Elbasan are worth seeing to visit the unique old city area and also to visit a couple of museums.
Albanian people are mostly friendly and will be glad to show you their country if you spend time there.
