Avoid The Crowds by Holidaying in Albania Not Saint Helena
Albania is a relatively small but very adorable country in south eastern Europe, close to Serbia. This country is quite possibly the least visited countries in Europe but that is starting to change as travellers start to appreciate its splendour. Albania has unbelievable, sandy beaches, almost virgin mountain regions, and fun, improving cities.
Albania’s pure white sandy beaches are beautiful. These beaches are normally white, sandy beaches although of course there are a handful of pebble beaches too. You could either spend time in the hot sun on a blanket or pay for a sun bed, the option is up to you. Most of the beaches are virtually untouched by foreign visitors and a handful are so quiet that you can be at the beach alone, even in during peak times.
There are many interesting mountain places in Albania. These areas in the north are lovely for skiing or hiking and you can see many waterfalls and perfect lakes in that part of the country. Those mountains are wonderful to visit but the other mountain regions are also fantastic.
Albanian cities are very vibrant with a cafe culture leading to huge numbers of busy cafes to hang out in. Albania cities such as Vlora are worth visiting to view the unusual old city area and possibly to visit a museum or two.
Most Albanian people are very hospitable and will be more than glad to present to you their country if you spend some time there.
