Avoid The Crowds by Holidaying in Albania Not New Caledonia

Albania is a little but very pretty country in the Mediterranean region of Europe, close to Macedonia. Albania is probably the least visited countries in Europe but that is changing as tourists notice its amazing beauty. This country has extraordinary, white sandy beaches, more of less virgin mountain regions, and vibrant, improving cities.

Albania’s clean sandy beaches are unbelievably beautiful. The beaches are usually white, sandy beaches except there are a dozen pebble beaches too. You could either sit down in the bright sun on a mat or pay for a sun bed, the choice is yours to make. Almost all of the beaches are pretty much untouched by visitors and a handful are so quiet that you could possibly have the beach to yourself, even in during peak times.

There are many mountain areas in Albania. The mountainous areas in the north are extraordinary for skiing or hiking and you are able to visit many waterfalls and pristine lakes in the area. The mountains in that region are fabulous to visit but the other mountain regions are also spectacular.

Albanian cities are bustling with a cafe culture resulting in hundreds of great cafes to choose from. Albania cities including Shkodra are worth visiting to view the unique old city area and not to mention to visit a few museums.

You are sure to find that Albanians are extremely warm and will be more than pleased to present to you their country if you spend time there.
