Avoid The Crowds by Holidaying in Albania Not Monaco
Albania is a little but cute country in the south of Europe, fairly close to Serbia. It is currently one of the less popular countries in southern Europe but that will change before you know it as people notice its splendour. This country has unbelievably beautiful, pure white sandy beaches, virtually untouched mountain regions, and happening, expanding cities.
Albania’s clean sandy beaches are amazing. These beaches are mainly white, sandy beaches but there are a few pebble beaches as well. You could if you want spend time in the warm sun on a rug or hire a sun bed, the option is yours. Many of the beaches are totally untouched by tourists and a couple are so out of the way that you could quite possibly have the beach to yourself, even in spring and summer.
There are quite a few interesting mountain regions in Albania. The mountainous areas in the north are extraordinary for skiing or hiking and you can possibly see at least a couple of waterfalls and perfect lakes in the area. These mountains are great to view but the other mountain regions are also fantastic.
Albanian cities are very vibrant with a cafe culture leading to hundreds of cool cafes to hang out in. Albania cities like Kukes are worth spending time in to visit the historic old city area and also to visit a museum.
Albanian people are very welcoming and will be more than pleased to show you around their country if you spend some time there.
