Avoid The Crowds by Holidaying in Albania Not Egypt

Albania is a relatively small but beautiful country in the south of Europe, not too far from Kosovo. This country is one of the less popular countries in southern Europe but that is starting to change as travellers appreciate its wonderful beauty. This country has extraordinary, pure white sandy beaches, more of less virgin mountain regions, and fun, growing cities.

Albania’s pure white sandy beaches are gorgeous. Albanian beaches are mostly white, sandy beaches although there are a dozen or so pebble beaches too. You could either have fun in the warm dry sun on a towel or pay for a sun bed, the decision is up to you to make. Almost all of the beaches are more or less untouched by foreign visitors and a few are so quiet that you could quite possibly have the beach pretty much to yourself, even in during peak times.

There are numerous exquisite mountain places in Albania. The mountainous areas in the north are great for skiing or hiking and you are able to find many waterfalls and fabulous lakes in that part of the country. Those mountains are brilliant to view but the other mountain regions are also amazing.

Albanian cities are extremely vibrant with a cafe culture resulting in many great cafes to relax in. Albania cities such as Elbasan are worth spending a few days in to visit the unusual old city area and possibly to visit a museum.

Most Albanian people are extremely welcoming and will be excited to present to you their country if you take the time to visit.
