Albania is More Fun Than The Gambia

Albania is a fairly small but cute country in the south of Europe, not far from Macedonia. It’s probably the least visited European countries but that is about to change as more visitors take note of its wonderful attractions. This country has unbelievable, pure white sandy beaches, more or less untouched mountain regions, and fun, expanding cities.

Albania’s white sandy beaches are fantastic. Albanian beaches are generally white, sandy beaches although of course there are a dozen pebble beaches also. You can if you want sit in the hot sun on a rug or get a lounge, the choice is up to you to make. A lot of the beaches are pretty much untouched by foreigners and a number are so out of the way that you can possibly have the beach pretty much to yourself, even in in the peak season.

There are numerous fantastic mountain regions in Albania. These areas in the north are extraordinary for skiing or hiking and you can view many waterfalls and clean lakes in that part of the country. These mountains are great to visit but the other mountain regions are also beautiful.

Albanian cities are bustling with a cafe culture so there are plenty of hip cafes to hang out in. Albania cities for example Berat are worth spending time in to view the unique old city area and also to visit a few museums.

People from Albania are extremely hospitable and will be more than happy to show you their country if you are there.
