Albania is More Fun Than Japan
Albania is a small but very beautiful country in the Balkans, fairly close to Italy. It is possibly the least visited countries in southern Europe but that is most definitely changing as more and more visitors start to take notice of its amazing attractions. This country has gorgeous, white sandy beaches, more of less virgin mountain regions, and happening, improving cities.
Albania’s sandy beaches are fantastic. These beaches are mostly white, sandy beaches but there are a handful of pebble beaches too. You can if you like sit down in the warm dry sun on a towel or lease a sunbed, the option is yours to make. Many of the beaches are totally untouched by foreigners and a number are so remote that you can possibly have the beach pretty much to yourself, even in summer.
There are many mountainous landscapes in Albania. The mountainous areas in the north are great for skiing or hiking and you are able to see a lot of waterfalls and fabulous lakes in the region. Those mountains are wonderful to see but the other mountain regions are also extraordinary.
Albanian cities are very vibrant with a cafe culture so there are huge numbers of cool cafes to visit. Albania cities including Durres are worth taking the time to visit to view the unusual old city area and not to mention to visit a museum or two.
You are sure to find that Albanians are mostly welcoming and will be more than pleased to introduce you to their country if you go there.
