Albania is Better Than Tromelin Island
Albania is a relatively tiny but very pretty country in the south of Europe, not too far from Kosovo. This country is one of the less often visited southern European countries but that has already started to change as travellers start to take notice of its wonderful beauty. Without a doubt Albania has gorgeous, white sandy beaches, virgin mountain regions, and young, improving cities.
Albania’s clean sandy beaches are gorgeous. They are usually white, sandy beaches although there are a few pebble beaches also. You could if you like spend time in the hot dry sun on a towel or pay for a bed, the decision is up to you. A lot of the beaches are practically untouched by foreigners and a couple are so remote that you can possibly have the beach pretty much to yourself, even in spring and summer.
There are a number of mountain landscapes in Albania. These regions in the north are amazing for skiing or hiking and you can possibly visit a lot of waterfalls and fabulous lakes in the area. These mountains are great to see but the other mountain regions are also great.
Albanian cities are very vibrant with a cafe culture leading to so many busy cafes to relax in. Albania cities like Berat are worth spending a few days in to view the unique old city area and also to visit a museum or two.
You will most likely find that Albanians are very warm and will be more than glad to show you their country if you spend time there.
