Albanian Designs

Albania is a small but fun country in the Balkan region, not far from Macedonia. It is one of the least visited countries in Europe but that is starting to change as more and more people start to take notice of its wonderful attractions. It has unbelievable, pure white sandy beaches, almost virgin mountain regions, and vibrant, changing cities.

Albania’s clean sandy beaches are unbelievable. These are most often white, sandy beaches although there are a few pebble beaches as well. You could if you like sit in the hot dry sun on a mat or hire a sun bed, the option is up to you to make. Many of the beaches are really untouched by foreigners and a handful are so remote that you can possibly have the beach to yourself, even in spring and summer.

There are a number of beautiful mountain areas in Albania. The mountainous regions in the north are fabulous for skiing or hiking and you can also view at least a few waterfalls and amazing lakes in the area. These mountains are brilliant to see but the other mountain regions are also extraordinary.

Albanian cities are very vibrant with a cafe culture resulting in hundreds of busy cafes to visit. Albania cities such as Fier are worth spending a few days in to see the historic old city area and not to mention to visit a museum or two.

You will most likely find that Albanians are mostly friendly and will be more than glad to present to you their country if you take the time to visit it.
