Vacation in Albania Not Brunei

Albania is a fairly small but pretty country in the Balkan region, fairly close to Serbia. Albania is one of the less often visited southern European countries but that has already started to change as more visitors start to take notice of its fantastic sites. It has unbelievably beautiful, white sandy beaches, pretty much untouched mountain regions, and happening, expanding cities.

Albania’s clean sandy beaches are wonderful. These beaches are most often white, sandy beaches although of course there are a dozen pebble beaches also. You can either sit in the bright sun on a blanket or lease a sun bed, the decision is up to you to make. Almost all of the beaches are really untouched by visitors and a couple are so remote that you can have the beach pretty much to yourself, even in in during popular times.

There are plenty of beautiful mountain landscapes in Albania. The mountainous areas in the north are great for skiing or hiking and you can also visit at least a couple of waterfalls and pristine lakes in that part of the country. The mountains in that region are amazing to see but the other mountain regions are also brilliant.

Albanian cities are bustling with a cafe culture resulting in a lot of great cafes to spend time in. Albania cities like Gjirokastra are worth seeing to see the historic old city area and possibly to visit a few museums.

Albanians are very hospitable and will be more than pleased to show you around their country if you go there.
